Aguirre
Corporation (AGUIRRE) represents the State of Florida Employees
Pension Fund (SFEPF). The SFEPF purchased a partially developed
site in the Washington Metropolitan area. As construction began
on the final phase of site development, buried rubble was discovered
and was found to be contaminated
with asbestos containing debris.
AGUIRRE
retained ENSAT to represent the SFEPF via contract with the site
developer (2111 Wilson Boulevard, Inc.) and SFEPF's asset manager
(L & B Realty Advisers, Inc.) jointly through AGUIRRE for Environmental
Consultation & Monitoring as required and specified by AGUIRRE.
Services provided to date have included remediation work plan review,
on-site remediation monitoring, and preliminary assessment of previously
developed phases of the site.
ENSAT
was selected by AGUIRRE to provide environmental services on the
Colonial Place project based upon its favorable experience while
representing a purchaser of a building in Washington, DC where ENSAT
was providing environmental services to the developer. ENSAT's
services included environmental
inspection, remediation specification, cost estimates, asbestos
and lead paint abatement monitoring, and other industrial hygiene
services during a total renovation.
